Day 1: Arrival + Grand Mosque

Arrive Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH).

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque — visit at sunset for extraordinary golden light (entry until 10pm, except Friday mornings)

Walk the surrounding gardens

Dinner at Zuma or Li Beirut in the Rosewood (Corniche)

Stay: Downtown Abu Dhabi (Days 1–3)

Day 2: Saadiyat Island + Louvre Abu Dhabi

Louvre Abu Dhabi — 2-3 hours minimum

Saadiyat Beach — afternoon swim

Day 3: Yas Island

Day 4: Al Ain Day Trip

160km drive (90 mins) to Abu Dhabi's oasis interior.

Al Ain Oasis — UNESCO-listed date palms and falaj channels

Al Jahili Fort — free, excellent museum

Al Ain Palace Museum — birthplace of the UAE's founder

Jebel Hafeet drive — mountain summit with UAE/Oman views

Return to Abu Dhabi for dinner

Day 5: Mangroves + Heritage

Mangrove Kayaking (morning, 2 hours) — flamingos almost guaranteed

Qasr Al Hosn Fort (afternoon)

Cultural Foundation area — art galleries, bookshops, cafés

Evening: Mina Port souq for traditional shopping
